Please review the FAQs for the Grand Haven Pride Festival here.

If you have a qustion that's not addressed, please contact us and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.

Note - if today is the Festival, it's highly unlikely we'll be able to respond online. Please find a Committee Member (pink shirts) or Volunteer (blue shirts) to ask your question! Thanks for understanding!

  • Where to Park

There is no designated parking for the festival.

There is a free lot at Harbor and Washington and additional parking at Chinook Pier (301 Harbor Drive). These lots fill up fast! Wherever you park, please be mindful of any time limits or private parking signs where you park.

Consider taking Grand Haven Trolley (Buccaneer Loop) – stops 3 and 4 will bring you to the Festival!

  • Where is the map?

  • Where is the schedule?

    The schedule is at https://ghpride.org/festival/

  • Can I bring my kids?

Of course! The festival is entirely family friendly.
This year, we have an expanded Kid’s Area from 12-5pm with activities ranging from arts and crafts to Michigan Autobots!

  • When is the festival?

The Grand Haven Pride Festival is scheduled for Saturday, June 8th from 12p – 9pm.

  • Is the festival free?

Yes! It is completely free to attend and enjoy the entertainment.

There will be food and drinks for purchase as well as a sizeable Vendor Market with items for sale.
You can browse the Market Vendors here!

Check out the Food Vendors, too!

  • Where exactly is it?

The festival will take place along North Harbor Drive in Grand Haven and includes the Lynne Sherwood Waterfront Stadium, the Grand Haven Municipal Marina and parking lot, and extends down to Chinook Pier.

    The festival map should help!

  • What kind of security will there be?

Grand Haven Pride has hired a private security company specializing in creating safe experiences for festival goers. We’ve also coordinated with local public safety who has vocalized support of the festival.

  • What *should* I bring?

    • Your Photo ID if you plan to enjoy an alcoholic beverage
    • Cash if you want to skip the ATM (the bar is cash only!)
    • Sunscreen – Weather is likely to be in the 60s, but the UV Index will be *high*
    • Your best selves! Dress however helps you celebrate your Pride best!
  • I don’t identify as part of the Queer Community, can I still come?

You don’t have to be a member of the Queer Community, just a supporter of it!

Pride is a celebration! So as long as you’ve got your party pants on, we hope you’ll come and lift up the local Queer Community.

  • Can I bring my pet?

This event is pet-friendly but please keep your pet leashed at all times. This ensures the safety of all festival-goers and their pets as well as your pet.

Please be sure to clean up after your pet

Keep in mind that festival will be loud at times. Consider the health of your pet when determining if the festival is a good fit for them!

  • Will alcohol be served?

Yes, alcohol will be served in designated areas to those over 21 years of age. You must present valid ID at entry to be served.
